CLUEDUP – One-day Collaborative learning: Working Together to Make Good Decisions symposium.

Date and time: Thu, 23 February 2023, 10:00 – 16:30 GMT

Location: Senate House Malet St London WC1E 7HU United Kingdom

This event will draw upon the outputs of the Erasmus+ funded CLUEDUP (Collaborative Learning Using Escape Designs and Pedagogies) project to focus on collaborative learning activities in medical and healthcare education. This is a chance for the community to engage with conversations around how we can use technology to design and implement collaborative learning activities that positively impact the student experience.

Collaborative learning is essential for our students to develop skills that align with their professional careers. However, is it time we rethink how we are engaging students in collaborative learning activities? How can things evolve with time and technology? What can we take from leisure activities such as escape rooms that might enhance collaborative learning? Join the conversations and share ideas.

Attendees will get a chance to see a live demo of a medical education escape room and to network with colleagues working in this area.

Presentation themes:

  • Online Collaborative learning
  • Gamification
  • Scenario based learning
  • Escape room in education
  • Using technology to enhance collaborative learning e.g. AR/VR/AI
