Over the past 2 years, the EU-funded project CLUEDUP has been exploring the use of escape room elements in medical education and collaborative learning approaches. The project created 3 scenarios: one for Problem-Based Learning / Case-Based Learning (PBL / CBL), one for Team-Based Learning (TBL) and one for Flipped Learning (FL) approach. The use of an escape room for collaborative learning, the methodology of the development of such a combined learning activity (collaborative learning activity with escape room elements), along with the results of the project research and has now been transformed into a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), which will provide a short two 2-week course in creating your own scenarios.
